Volunteers needed for Disaster Drill
Reliable volunteers are needed to role play “disaster victims” for a mock disaster drill on Saturday, May 10 from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Missoula City/County emergency responders (sheriff and police departments, rural/local fire departments, health department and Missoula hospitals) will conduct the disaster drill at the Missoula International Airport. Jump on board this unique volunteer project and help emergency responders test their preparedness.

Medical Field Volunteer Positions
Partnership Health Center ensures that health care is provided to underserved populations in the region through a partnership of community resources. They offer physical exams, diagnosis, treatment, immunizations, women's health care, well child care, basic mental health, and follow up care. Discounted costs are based upon family income and size, with insurance not required. Volunteers assist in numerous ways; currently there is an urgent need for greeters.

Do you like gift shops? Community Medical Center Gift Shop has several openings. Help conduct sales and greet the public. Choose the time that fits your lifestyle--morning, afternoon and weekend shifts available. Other positions are also available. Volunteer benefits include snack or meal ticket when working a 4-hour shift once a week, gift shop and cafeteria discounts plus invitations to yearly award functions.

When St. Patrick Hospital's Broadway Building opened in 2002, the expansion created the need for more volunteers. Different positions are open, including volunteers for escorting services, information desks, surgical waiting areas and more.

Do you have experience, skills or an interest in helping with advertising, marketing, sales, scheduling presentations, coordinating displays, posting fliers or other promotional activities? Join a creative volunteer team working to benefit Missoula’s non-profit world through volunteerism. The Missoula Senior Service Corps is looking for people with a wide range of experience or interest in promotional activities. Help us promote volunteerism and its benefits for older adult residing in Missoula County.

A Chance to Earn a Stipend While Volunteering!
Foster Grandparents help keep youth on track and focused on schoolwork, assist with special projects, read with youth and assist youth in managing behavior in order to remain in the classroom. They also serve as role models for youth by displaying positive behavior and by reinforcing appropriate social behavior. Foster Grandparent participants will provide comfort and reassurance to youth who are experiencing trauma in the lives, promote self-esteem and healthy attachment, and encourage conversation while listening to their concerns.

The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula offers a beautiful and serene venue to volunteer. Have fun greeting tourists from around the world and providing general information about the Fort, the museum, Missoula and Montana. Morning and afternoon shifts available.

Neighbor-To-Neighbor Friendly Visitors Needed
Summer is a good time to become a Neighbor-To-Neighbor volunteer who makes visits to local seniors in their homes. Volunteers offer a unique peer relationship in a non-invasive way. Training and ongoing support provided for sharing ideas and suggestions for accessing local resources and services to assist seniors.

Friendly Scheduler
Use your telephone and people skills to provide information to interested RSVP members regarding fun and unique short-term volunteer opportunities. Serve just 3 – 10 hours monthly from the comfort of your own home.

Touch lives by delivering food
Join the ROOTS team, a program of the Missoula Food Bank, and you'll have a positive impact on seniors who may be homebound or without transportation. ROOTS drivers deliver boxed food just once or twice a month to seniors stretching their budgets. Typical monthly commitment is for three hours or less.
