Events & Classes

Get Involved. Stay Informed.

Missoula Aging Services hosts a variety of events throughout the year to help build awareness, recruit volunteers and raise money for our programs and services. We also offer numerous educational opportunities on topics pertinent to older adults such as our New to Medicare Class, a class on advance directives and our Powerful Tools for Caregivers six-class series.

Annual Events

March for Meals

The month of March marks Meals on Wheels America’s March for Meals Campaign. It is a time when Meals on Wheels programs across the country join together to raise awareness and funding for senior hunger. Read about this year's event here.

Volunteer Recognition Event

April is National Volunteer Recognition month. We take time each year to honor the hundreds of volunteers who make Missoula Aging Services’ work possible at a special appreciation event. Check back for next year's event details.

Giving Trees

Just after Thanksgiving each year, bright and festive Giving Trees begin appearing at locations around Missoula. When you select a tag and make a gift which supports Meals on Wheels, for instance, you can touch the lives of 10 older adults who depend on the meals to help maintain their independence. Check the Calendar of Events for the location of trees this year!
